I was thinking about a specific question to ask that would help make life easier and funner for you and this article on emotions: why do you feel the way you do showed up and it ties in with the upcoming FREE “Ask Doc Anything” Google Hangout next Sunday evening, June 2nd at 7:00 PM.

People have all kinds of reasons (aka beliefs) why they feel the way they do….

  • He said…
  • She said…
  • If they wouldn’t do…. I wouldn’t feel this way…
  • I shouldn’t have eaten…
  • The Government is going to…
  • The Republicans did…
  • The Democrats are…
  • My teacher told…
  • My parents…
  • My children…
  • Kids today just don’t know…
  • etc, etc, etc

All those seem to work for most people and for the people who are wanting to wake up and be more conscious as it appears there is a large consciousness movement around the world at present, they know there is something more to it than what other people are saying or doing.

Emotions: Why Do You Feel The Way You Do?

Your self talk (mostly unconscious) is what you say to yourself about all the pictures (usually unconscious) that are moving through you mind/head that make you feel the way you feel (totally in conscious). The way you feel determines your vibrational frequency range which determines what your life experience is like.

Simply…

You feel the way you feel because of what you are saying to yourself about the pictures in your head.

How you feel emotionally determines the range of what can and can not come into your experience and how much pain or pleasure you get out of life.

I mean think about it 1000’s and 1000’s of pictures are moving through your mind at 186,000 miles per second, the speed of light. Your self-talk is moving at the speed of sound which is about 1,100 feet per hour. And both of those are faster than our conscious mind can gork (keep up with).

Because these things are going on inside your head (in your mind) outside of your conscious awareness is there any wonder people assume we feel the way we feel based on what is consciously in our mind?

This whole article came about because I was thinking about the FREE “Ask Doc Anything” Google Hangout next Sunday evening, June 2nd at 7:00 PM and what all we were going to talk about and as I was thinking about it the thought came up, “What one question/statement could I use to influence what I am saying about the pictures in my head?”.

If we do that we change everything in our lives.

I don’t let go of concepts—I question them. Then they let go of me. Byron Katie
